Good God yes.
I want those sticking out of the top of an MGB's bonnet, covered by a little mesh cage.

I am a long time proponent of mesh domes either single or combined. For this I blame the Cosworth DFV, which I also blame for deranged fixation on low-displacement V8s.

Now that is sex in engine form.
What to put it in though? Adapted Lotus Elan? Need to find some weight info for the DFV. The Lotus-Ford Twincam in the Elan is 120kg fully dressed. If the DFV's not far from that it'd be perfect.

168 kilos, from a quick internet search. Surprisingly not that far off a fully dressed RV8, which can be 144 (alleged Buick 215 original long-block weight) to 200kg+ fully dressed.
